Much more pleasant than their winter cousins, pursuing summer steelhead remains a passionate and cult followed facet of the fly fishing sport.
This can either be a float or a walk and wade trip. Staying true to their passions, EWA only swings for these fish using spey or two handed rods.
Summer can and usually is a beautiful time to be on these rivers and is also where many steelhead anglers catch the dreaded disease which will lead them to the pursuit of these fish during the most physically and at times mentally demanding times of the year.
Steelhead are iconic in this part of the US and we are passionate about catching them but also returning them safely so they are able to spawn and bring about a new generation of these magnificent fish.

Additional Rate Info
All trips are based on a per guide rate, price being the same for 1 or 2 anglers. Some trips can have 3 anglers and some can't. For the 3rd angler on a trip, it is $50 additional for a half day and $75 for a full day.
