River & Green is a small Edinburgh-based company specializing in fly fishing, golf and shooting vacations in Scotland. Through the benefit of intimate knowledge and influential contacts, River & Green is uniquely positioned to provide access to privileges not normally available through larger operators.
River & Green believes that it is the combination of the “iconic” and the “personal” that sets their vacation experiences apart. If you would like to play the classic championship golf courses of St Andrews and stay as a guest in a private castle, or fish for salmon on exclusive stretches of the River Tweed and have access to a private gentleman’s club, River & Green can provide the solution.
As well as offering a select range of luxury, all-inclusive vacations, River & Green also offers clients the opportunity to create their own ideal vacation in Scotland. Perhaps you are looking to reward or motivate key members of staff by staging a golf competition at St Andrews or your fishing club would like a few days of trout fishing combined with one or two days of salmon fishing. Whatever you would like to do, River & Green can tailor your requirements to deliver the quintessential Scottish sporting experience.
“I have four great passions in my life: golf, fly fishing for salmon, shooting and Scotland. And, over the years, I have been fortunate enough to indulge these passions, almost without restraint. I have played all of the great Championship courses and discovered many 'hidden gems' of courses in all parts of Scotland, from the Highlands to the Scottish Borders. I have also had the privilege of fishing all the most famous salmon rivers and I have shot grouse, deer and pheasant on many of Scotland’s historic Estates.
Last year, I decided that the time was right to combine these sporting passions with my love of Scotland and as a result, River & Green was born. My vision is very clear: to share my contacts and knowledge with others who are as passionate about their sports as I am. I want my guests to experience a side of Scotland which is not normally available to visitors and at the same level of quality that I myself would expect.”

Reservation Policy
When the date of booking is more than forty-five (45) days from the tour start date, the deposit is payable at the time of booking. Balance is payable in full no later than forty-five (45) days before the tour start date.
When the date of booking is less than forty-five (45) days from the tour start date, the total price is payable in full on the date of booking.
Cancellation Policy
In the event of cancellation by the client, the following refund schedule will apply: - Within 14 days of receipt by the company of a deposit payment, 100% of deposit.
- After 14 days of receipt by the company of a deposit payment and before the balance due date, 50% of deposit.
- After receipt by the company of a balance payment, no refunds.
